Philosophy

Each company has its own way to be in the world. This is ours.

Analytics, not closed applications

The classical paradigm in the 20th century was based on: a problem = a specific application to be solved. This has created a wide variety of disconnected vertical applications “silo” type. In the 21st century the approach is different: have access to all my data at any time (aligned, homogenized, sanitized, unified) and depending on my problem to be solved, I apply to the data related to the problem a specific analytics. The better our analysts are, the more our competitiveness will be. In the 21st century the one who knows best how to analyze its own data will have a unique competitive advantage, difficult to copy.

Data sovereignty

The generation and analysis of any kind of company data (economic, social, technical, legal, etc.) is on what the competitiveness in the 21st century is based. The ability to dominate our business data at any level and to control who sees it (real privacy, not expected) where it is stored (physically they are found in a domain where our legislation and our rights over such data apply) the ability to change it from any service supplier (without entailing into a financial drain nor a “start the project all over again with another supplier”). All these considerations are crucial bases for the 21st century economy. Thus, in Nexiona we are strong supporters that our customers have complete control of all those issues.

No-code

There are more and more tools that allow to generate solutions quickly and cheaply-solutions that required specialized programmers that used their knowledge in developing them. This meant too much time and consequently, expensive solutions. Very expensive ones. Nowadays, tools such a MIIMETIQ NO-CODE allow to create IoT solutions in hours, instead of months. We believe that the future is “No-Code”. In other words: let us program for you so you do not have to.

Consulting from the experience of later implementation

In Nexiona we were “obliged” to introduce a consulting service since our customers needed accompaniment and explained us repeatedly, they did not know which door to knock due to the fact that the majority of consulting services spoke to them from the theory or from the academic concepts. Thus, we are not a consulting firm that implements projects. Nexiona is a company that develops software products such as MIIMETIQ. We install it in customers that ask us to develop the solutions they need. And when they ask us, we can also accompany them to create a portfolio of digital services or Industry 4.0 roadmap.

Always drink from the original sources

When we need to find a service to offer that is based on a concept or methodology, we always go to the original sources.  This way, when we decided to offer Industry 4.0 audit and consulting services, we went to Germany, we looked for who had developed it and we found out that the process was led by Fraunhofer Institute and Acatech. At the same time, Acatech had developed a methodology to define the maturity level of any industrial business regarding to the best practices that defined the concept of Industry 4.0  We are certified by such methodology and since 2019 we are the certified partner in Spain to offer this service aside Industry 4.0 Maturity Index from Acatech in Germany for the Spanish businesses/companies.

Share knowledge

We are pleased to share much of what we have learned all along in the journey Nexiona started in year 2012. There are in the market plenty of white papers and documents about the Industry 4.0 or Internet of Things concept.

We have created three documents that you can download for free without the need to give us your contact data (if what we explain is helpful for you to understand what we are talking about, you will call us anytime you need).

Profit is the reward of society

This is a license that one of Nexiona’s founders has allowed himself. After being a high executive in Panasonic, first in Spain and later in Europe, this phrase defined what for him means a company’s reason to be: offer services or products that the market needs, sell them at a fair price for all the implied parts and as a result, make profit. This is why this phrase from the Panasonic founder defines the way Nexiona faces its mission in the market: if what we do has a value, the customers will pay a fair price for that and as a consequence we will all be making profit. THIS ONE and no other, is the reward the society gives a company for what it does.
